I have speculated that in the page 10,which shows the twins in the chessboard, each piece in the board represent who will help them. Abberline will help our earl and possibly die in the process. Lau and Ran-Mao are likely to bail out and will be very lucky if they get to live. The reapers might act more like spectators most of the time, but I think they will be more helpful to our earl than to the abomination Undertaker has created with our earl and the other lords of the stars. I have a feeling the other lords are also forces to be reckoned with. There are other lords of the stars to help real Ciel, including Lord Polaris, who must be “Knife Dude”. Then he might just leave… if he gets to live. Soma might fight either or both of the twins until he figures out the truth. I expect Edward and Gregory Violet co come back in and be helpful to our earl. Lizzie will probably detach herself from the whole thing until she figures out our earl is the one who actually accepts her the way she is. I think he underestimates their value and abilities. He has no idea that he’s probably sealed his own fate (of failure) by doing this. He seems to be purposefully arming his brother with “weapons” for an upcoming battle. Real Ciel gave them permission to leave, and they all left except for Tanaka (but I’m sure Tanaka stayed for strategic reasons and is still loyal to our earl).
